Tender is the night.

In 1976, the perfumer Keizo Shinke created the Shiseido perfume "SUZURO".
It was like a profusion of flowers in the springtime, with love blooming in the heart, exuding luxury and exquisite delicacy.

In 2023, at the age of 83, Keizo Shinke created "SAZAMEKI".
With the same sentiment of love in his heart, he presented it with a freehand brushwork in the Eastern style.
It was like the faint shadows of green mountains, and the lingering affection under the silver moon.

Scent Profile

Jasmine blooms not as daytime opulence but as nocturnal poetry - its indoles softened to a murmur, like flowers seen through rice paper screens. Musk floats beneath, weightless as moonbeams on skin, while leather surprises - rendered not rugged but supple, a single black ink stroke dissolving in water. The illusion of wisteria (though unlisted) lingers in the background, its purple melancholy fading into the mineralic freshness of mountain air after rain. Together, they form a scent that doesn't declare love but breathes it - tender, enduring, and infinitely patient.
