In Coffeeze, the perfumer draws inspiration from the raw, seductive tension between two iconic notes—premium Santos coffee and primal oud. Like the infamous lovers in Serge Gainsbourg’s Je t’Aime... moi non plus, their union is a push-and-pull of bitterness and heat, where the fruity-green nuances of unroasted coffee beans clash against oud’s smoky, animalic depth.
